Lost World

System Type:

Epithermal, high-grade, banded, quartz veining, with scattered breccias and stockwork veining.

Strike-Length:

Lost World is predominantly a covered target with a thin veneer of colluvium (gravel) however the target is dominated by high-grade float samples which are found along the hillsides above the Gold Springs Wash and are spread over an area of 1,200 x 180 meters.

Resource:

None at this time

Location:

The Lost World target lies on the Nevada side of the Gold Springs project and is situated 400 meters east of the Midnight target ecompassing the hillsides and side drainages along the Gold Springs Wash which is a major structural zone.

Drilling:

None to date.

Geophysics:

The Lost World target is located along the western edge of a large +5-kilometer-long, north-south trending high resistivity anomaly identified with the airborne ZTEM geophysical survey, which encompasses the Camp Bell, Thor, and North Jennie target areas. Immediately south of the Lost World target is a well-defined ZTEM resistivity high anomaly situated on the same trend. No target has been defined in this area due to complete cover by post-mineral colluvium (gravel).  It is believed that this resistivity high could be an extension of the Lost World target (see map below).

Geology:

The Lost World target is dominantly covered by colluvium with a few outcrop showings. Many high-grade samples have been collected by the Company from float and rare outcroppings consisting of veins, breccia and stockwork.  These gold barring samples range up to 21.38 g/t gold with 64 g/t silver. Shallow prospecting pits are found and contain mixtures of colluvium, stockwork, and breccia rubble returning gold values up to 0.95 g/t. The target is defined by the intersection of east-west faulting, which can be traced from exposures on the Midnight target, with the major north-south Gold Springs fault. This structural configuration is positive for gold deposition and is further supported by concentrations of veins and brecciated andesite float along the east-west structures. The mineralization float, the structural setting, and the target dimensions are compelling for the quality of the Lost World target.

Structural Geology:

The Lost World target is centered on the major Gold Springs wash. This structural corridor can be traced northeast to the North Jumbo resource area. Numerous east-west structures mapped on the Midnight target can be projected into the Gold Springs wash where they intersect that structural zone, and hence the Lost World target (see map above). This creates areas of positive structural preparation for gold deposition. It is believed that the high-grade float samples at Lost World are locally derived and controlled by this structural setting.

Historical Mining:

There are a few small historical prospect pits within the area.

Geochemistry:

Many high-grade samples have been collected by the Company from float and rare outcroppings consisting of veins, breccia and stockwork.  These gold barring samples range up to 21.38 g/t gold with 64 g/t silver and extend over an area of 1,200 x 180 meters. Recent mapping and surface sampling have produced the following results returning values > 0.25 g/t Au. Previous sample results obtained by the Company are also presented below:
